I've just spent a lovely afternoon sat in a ditch (no, really) in the back of the Landrover, watching the Duxford Air Show...A thrifty afternoon by all accounts as the week before we head off to France, spending another fifty quid wasn't really on the cards. I packed a picnic, we took the back off the truck and watched some awesome planes overhead. I even managed a couple of rows of crochet, hurrah!
On to other quandries...I need sandals. My lovely Birkenstocks are on the way out, and it might be time to try something new. Saltwater sandals seem to be the sensible tree-climbing mummy's foot attire of choice so I might give these a go...and they come in yellow...and fuschia...and shiny....What do you think?
